A clinic or medical facility fit-out in Dubai needs Dubai Health Authority approval of the layout and design, on top of the Dubai Municipality building permit and Dubai Civil Defence approval. The DHA review covers the things that make a space clinically safe, from room layout and infection control to medical gas, and we design to them from the start so the premises pass licensing.
The Dubai Health Authority regulates medical premises and reviews the facility layout as part of licensing, alongside the standard building permit from Dubai Municipality and fire and life-safety approval from Dubai Civil Defence. A clinic in a free zone may also need its free-zone NOC. We prepare and manage the whole route.
Medical facilities are held to requirements a normal office is not: room sizes and layout, separation and flow to control infection, and services such as medical gas where the specialty needs it.
